Onehunga Bay Terraces Project Progress, December 2017

Posted 11 Dec '17

It’s great to see work pushing ahead on site at Onehunga Bay Terraces. Foundation works are currently underway, which started in mid-November 2017. As one of the first projects under construction in this Special Housing Area, we’re delighted that we will be adding much needed affordable homes to local community.

Avanda Group is committed to developing quality housing developments in Auckland. Onehunga Bay Terraces has a total land area of 5,570 square metres, consists of three-level terraced homes, and affordable apartment units.

Avanda’s goal is to build safe, strong, connected, and vibrant communities for New Zealanders.

Homes within Onehunga Bay Terraces will be available in 2018.

Crown Lynn Yards Update

Crown Lynn Yards, the second stage of our New Lynn project, had some great progress in March.

Resource consent and  the EPA have been granted (this is a big deal for us) and building consent lodgements have commenced.

Civil and underground works have started – construction of underground services are underway and the first platforms for terraces almost complete. It is important that we get these works finished before the winter rain sets in.

It won’t be too long before construction is really visible on the site.

West Edge Stage 1 Update

West Edge Stage 1 Update

The final 2 blocks in stage 1, C and D, are almost complete, despite the challenges of lockdown.  We are looking forward to seeing these residents settled into their new homes.

Depending on the block, there are some minor internal works to complete before landscaping and commercial cleaning can be finished.

For health and safety reasons, final inspections will be scheduled by invitation with settlement expected in the second quarter of 2021.
